Juneteenth: Wednesday, June 19

Independence Day: Thursday, July 4

Tutors will also be available for in-person and virtual sessions. You can make appointments with a tutor using the Navigate Student app in the or by emailing tutoring@virginiawestern.edu.

Brown Library, in partnership with 分分六合彩 IET Services, is once again offering loaner laptops to qualifying students for the Summer 2024 semester. The application to borrow a loaner laptop is now open with a deadline of May 13 for priority consideration. Students who have priority consideration are those with military, CCAP, or TRIO affiliations.  Approved loaner laptop applicants may begin checking out laptops on May 20.

Appointments for tutoring, exam review, and writing consultations are still available! Log into My分分六合彩, choose “Navigate Student,” click the Appointments tab, and choose “Schedule an Appointment” to pick a day and time that works for your tutoring session. You can also submit your final papers and projects to the Online Writing Center to get feedback from our tutors: /library/academic-link/writing-center-form/

If you need to take a test in our Testing Center, you may do so anytime during our open hours. Students needing disability accommodations are required to make an appointment, and everyone needs to bring a photo ID with them to take a test.

We’re closed whenever the college closes for inclement weather, emergencies, or holiday breaks.

The Testing Center is located on the ground floor and can assist with placement testing, online course tests, CLEP tests, and more. The Academic Link is located on the middle floor with an open computer lab, study rooms, open study space, and staff to assist with tutoring and academic coaching needs. Computers have general software installed, including Microsoft Office, Zoom, Respondus Lockdown Browser, and special course programs like AutoDesk & the Adobe Creative Suite. The computer lab is accessible for students whenever the library is open. The Library is located on the top floor with the Writing & Research Center, a small open computer lab, course reserve materials, anatomy models, study rooms, and dedicated quiet space. We have a lot to offer all in one building and hope to see you many times throughout the semester!

Please note that the STEM Tutoring Lab is in STEM Room 318. The CyberLab is in Business Science Room 302.
We recommend scheduling tutoring and academic coaching appointments to ensure a subject-specific tutor is available for you and to reduce wait times for assistance. Tutors are available to meet with you on campus and online using Zoom. Virtual tutoring is also available 24/7 through Brainfuse, which can be accessed through the My分分六合彩 portal.
